The McStocker Ceilidh Band is based in County Antrim and is a wonderful, experienced band, which could provide the perfect entertainment for your evening wedding reception.

Ceilidhs have been steadily growing in popularity as evening entertainment at weddings, as the dances can appeal to all guests, no matter their age or musical tastes.

This band is primarily composed of family members and has more than 25 years experience playing at various events and weddings. They play a range of Irish and Scottish ceilidh dances and can incorporate some waltzing and jiving in between to add a little variety.

The instruments in the band include (but are not limited to!) the midi accordion, fiddle, low whistle, guitar and drums. There is also a singer who can provide a little variation from the ceilidh music, if you so desire. They're able to perform old time waltzes, country music and even a little rock 'n' roll if that's what you'd like.

You and your guests don't require to have any previous knowledge of ceilidh dances as all dances will be fully explained before the song begins. All you need is your dancing feet and a little enthusiasm to get you through!
