"Could not fault this hotel! My husband and I stayed at this hotel for one night for a wedding. Having been to a lot of weddings in the past we were expecting the same tired service and fare that is usually part of these packages. We were very pleasantly surprised with Garryvoe Hotel! From start to finish this hotel appears to have got it right. I had contacted the hotel in advance advising of a particular dietary requirement, and again having been extremely disappointed and sometimes downright horrified in the past with what I was served, this hotel delivered! I was very happy with the meal. My congratulations definitely to the chef! The serving staff were professional and efficient, without losing a cheerful attitude. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was pleasant & clean (a bug bear of mine). We didn't have breakfast, so cannot comment on that. Checkout is a little early at 1100, but with the popularity of this hotel for weddings I can understand the hurry in getting rooms cleaned in time for checkin. We were in reception waiting to checkout when a maid raced out of the lift with my husbands iPhone charger that we had left in the room! This was just the cherry on the cake. I have never before witnessed such excellent customer service across all areas/staff of an hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for location, cleanliness, decor, attention to detail, and excellent customer service!"
